That was a full kit with a Sophia dev Saturn and a hitachi ICE. Very specialized hardware. Cartdev + vcd board was apparently simpler and better, though still a bitch to debug with.

Sony dev kits were much more professional, you could do shit like measuring the percentage of hardware you were using. Saturn setups only did basic debugging.
