I haven't played Dreamweb so I don't know how much Beneath a Steel Sky differs in gameplay. It's a cyberpunk point and click game, though.

I have this game on my Amiga emulator and I've been meaning to play it for a while.

I may suggest to you the Elvira games if you enjoy point and click. Horror themed instead of Cyberpunk though.

It's been his naem since we created him. We knew early /vr/ needed an anthropomorphic mascot.

His name is Chester T. Bodacious and we made him as 90's as we possibly could.

(The T is Trevor, or Tre/vr/ if you prefer)

There was also a consensus to call ourselves /VR/Troopers. I see people use "/vr/gins" from time to time, but that's just not 90's XTREEM silly enough.

Top down adventure games with a little fighting in them?
Try The Veil of Darkness, Sanitarium and both Shadowrun games on the SNES and Genesis.

Looking for that same cyberpunk-ish vibe? Try Snatcher, Blade Runner, Rise of the Dragon, or the non /vr/ but retro looking Gemini Rue.
