This. Godzilla is a rare franchise were the modern games clearly beat out the retro ones. I have Godzilla Unleashed for Wii and it's quality, especially since I get to kick ass with mah boi Jet Jaguar.

I can't remember what they're called but there's two Godzilla Dreamcast games that are Japan exclusives. They're really fun. I'll have to take a pic later when I'm home.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I love the NES Godzilla. The plot is complete crap and the stages are random and boring. However, I love the monster combat. When they don't cheese you, that is. Lookin' at you, Gigan.

Let me clarify, I like the 1st NES Godzilla. Godzilla 2 was...interesting, but pretty terrible overall. Mostly because you didn't play as the monsters.

I have Godzilla Save the Earth y and Godzilla Unleashed, both for the PS2, they're good games, but damn, the slowdowns sometimes make them nearly unplayable

Does the Wii version of Godzilla Unleashed have that problem?

I don't recall there being any major slowdown on the xbox version. But yeah, that was my favorite Godzilla game. Not retro enough tho.
