My favorite games ever.

I liked the first more mostly because the soundtrack and artstyle fitted perfectly together. Motherfucking Tommy Tallarico, man.

Second is great too and it's the best Bioware game. Avoid "HD" release.

MDK 3 never ;_;

Actually, modern kids call 2D animations "flash". Because many Macromedia/Adobe Flash games are 2D.

"Sprite" is from the vocabulary of the same people who call Street Fighter IV et al "2.5d", i.e. the 90s children.

I had MDK2 for dreamcast. I picked it back up a little while ago and the aim/move controls being reversed left/right compared to modern console shooter controls made it hard to get used to. It's hard for me to imagine I played all those old console shooters like goldeneye and turok using the same flipped control scheme. Really makes me wish the DC had another analogue stick.

Quite an impressive game for its time. I remember being disappointed by how campy it was. I thought I was gonna be a badass assassin in a HR Giger designed suit killing aliens. But before I knew it I was snowboarding, eating apples, and listening to 60's surf rock.

There's kind of a Halo vibe to it as well IMO.
