Doom 1 and 2 + Plutonia, Front Mission, FF V, Mother.
First time playing pluotonia, FM and FF V.
Completed Doom 1 and 2 and still playing Plutonia.
Plutonia is fucking cool.

OP here, and I have had a great year of gaming, particuarly in the last few months. For the first time i played through (and completed) castlevania: sotn, aria of sorrow, zelda a link to the past... And most recently Chrono Trigger. Theres a couple of others Ive forgotten. I had a great time replaying resi3 a few times till I could ace nemesis every time, and finish the game with a crazy amount of excess ammo.
I would say though that chrono trigger was probably the best game i've played. Completed it on a snes emulator on my psp, and was extremely impressed. One of my first rpgs ever. (Was never into FF, etc..). Am now looking foward to playing all the rpgs i've missed out on, particuarly ff, in the coming year. I just hope whatever I play next has the same level of storytelling and imagination as that game, its been a long, long time since i have been on such an incredible journey on a videogame.

Finished FF9, having aborted halfway through on several occasions. Payoff was barely worth it tbh, but at least I've proved to myself that I can stick with a boring game to the end. King's Field for the first time, and looking forward to playing the others. Most of the way through Tomb Raider, which I never finished as a kid.

Finished Suikoden 2, DKC, and Crash Bandicoot. Currently working on Seiken Densetsu 3. If I made a real concerted effort I could finish that before the New Year, but it likely won't be the case. I've also been playing a ton of random Capcom and SNK fighting games and Shmups when I m looking for a quick fix.
