Ports.
From what I've gathered, some people love them, most people here hate them. In either case, they aren't going anywhere, so in the mean time, why can't I find a website that duely notes all the carry-overs and the changes therein? Not even a Wikia? Am I just blind?

We won't be talking GBA here, it is not retro. We should be discussing other handhelds that aren't Nintendo that received ports.

We won't be shit-posting about who thinks what is better. This should be about the movement forward of our community.

There's a youtube series called Battle of the Ports which you may be interested in. There aren't hundreds of videos or anything but it explores the differences between ports of some popular arcade games

Well, it's the principle. Googling anything and everything (although effective) seems like the easy way out. I want more than just pictures and opinions, I'm here looking for a website.

If there isn't one, then hell yeah I should start one. Just curious if anyone else shares my interest or wants to talk about ports that aren't on the frickin' GBA for once.

I understand that talking about ports is hard without muh 'pinions, but that's what I meant about moving forward as a community.

>Gauntlet Legends
>At least two versions are likely 500Mb+ Alright, it's not huge, but it takes a minute to download.
>Arcade, N64, PS1, Dreamcast
>Some differences aren't obvious until long after the first few SETS of levels
>Play half of a game ~4 times to see the differences
Yeah, no. This is not a bad idea, and some changes can go pretty unnoticed but can make a big difference.
Gauntlet for N64 is the best version
