I've known about him since not long after he started his YouTube channel but never watched any of his vids until a bit over a year ago when I watched the first twenty or so eps of AVGN. They were mostly pretty informative in regards to what I didn't know and mostly in sync with my own opinions in regard to what I did know, but I can't stand the Nerd character. His writing for him is really cringy and juvenile. Maybe that's the entire point but I just can't stand it for very long.

It's a waste of potential. Ever since his early videos I was hoping he'll drop his little sketches one day but he did complete opposite. I haven't seen anything of his in years (especially not the fucking film, trailer was plenty enough) because it just became unbearable. I think james jumped the shark. For 2 years already he is been doing lousy reviews, lots of these shitty lets plays and getting away with it because he claims to have no time because he is working in his movie.
HOWEVER, his movie is done now (it is very, very boring, unfunny, pretentious and self-indulgent) and he has no excuse. However, he just doing those lets play with mike.
On a side note I have no idea why people hate mike so much.
He did a few bad choices like supporting the stupid scam of the remake in REAL CARTIDRIDGES of cheetahmen 2 and it seems his movie didnt used the whole budget. It felt so fucking cheap and rushed.
