What's vr's opinion on this game? I play the Game Boy version, and it's surprisingly good considering it's a Simpsons title.

This was my very first GB game actually. I believe I was 8. I could clear the first world but then the difficulty curve just got too extreme already by world 2. As I got more & better GB games I quickly realized what a sub-par game it was. In hindsight, it's nothing but one giant escort mission, and who really wants that out of a game? But yes I agree as far as Simpsons games go it is still one of the better ones.

Nah, rather than escort mission, it's more like reverse Lemmings.

If I remember correctly, Krusty's fun house was a clone of an older game for C64 or something like that.

>dat green bart t-shirt in older simpson merchandise

best non-Arcade simpson game is Bart's Nightmare by the way.

Not really "reverse", you get them to a goal the same way as Lemmings, but they get killed rather than rescued.

Are there bad Simpsons games? I've only played the old arcade beat-em-up and Road Rage and they were both lots of fun.

Acclaim's games were for the most part shovelware.
They had abysmal gameplay and were really hard not in the fun way. I'm mostly talking about the NES and Genesis/SNES games.
I still played them a lot, especially the 2 NES games.
The arcade game is in a whole different league, it's a beat em up made by Konami, same people who made games like TMNT IV, can't compare to the rest of the Simpson licensed games.

I played the Amiga version for a bit and it was surprisingly fun. Wasn't expecting much after trying "The Simpsons: Bart vs. The World" (didn't much like the skateboard part near the beginning...)

Is what I meant, but yeah, while the end result is reversed, the game play isn't - you don't have to steer them to all sorts of trouble.

Yeah, it's kinda good.

How do the NES and SNES vesions of this game compare to the GB one?

I never got past the 1st level.
No clue what I was supposed to be doing.

I have the NES version. It's ok.

the snes version was the first videogame I owned and I played it so much

Could never eat it though the puzzles get insane in world 4
