I'm tempted to start a thread about the Evangelion N64 game but I'm not quite sure what to say about it... other than, "Hey, EVA is /vr/!" But that would just be being a douche.

Not if you know the overall plot of the anime. But from what I've heard (never played it myself), it has different endings, depending on your actions.

There are no different endings, but you have to beat the game on hard to play the real final level.

This. Easy mode ends the game two missions early and normal ends the game one mission early. To top it off, you have to play through normal to unlock hard. It's still an interesting game.

It's not what I'd call a good game on its own, but it's the only Eva game where you can actually follow the series' story and fight the angels face to face instead of weird dating sim/mahjong/whatever.

Definitely worth playing if you like Evangelion.
it's also one of the best looking N64 games.

It's not a very long game even with the multiple playthroughs. I'd recommend giving it a shot just for the hell of it.
