What are some good games with moe anime girls that for any console N64/PS1-era and back(with the exception of gamecube because dolphin is good)? I want to play a game with cute grills.

Princess Maker 2 and other raising sims count for me. Kawaii ≠ moe, but there's some of the latter starting from the '90s onward.

Magical Pop'n for the Super Nintendo. Very fucking good game, surprised it isn't well known. It sort of feels like a colorful and upbeat Castlevania. No need for translation.

And Monster World IV. A sidescroller on the Sega Genesis. I don't have too much experience with it, but from what little I have played, it is a blast. Need a translation patch.

I don't think either were released in the US, might be a big reason for their obscurity over here. Still very good games, give them a try.
