I'm playing the SNES Madou. I've played it in the past but never finished it. Also I played the Saturn one years ago, the isometric areas are crap but the battle screen sprites are nicely drawn. I wanna try some of those earlier first person dungeons games too.

actually it doesn't look like the forest in PSO at all, but I checked the preview again just now and the forest they are in has snow capped mountains in the background.

In PSO2 the forest area is on Planet Naberius, and the second area on Naberius is a snowy region. I havent played PSO2 in a while but I believe you can see the snowy mountains in the distant background of the forest zone.
