Ugh, fucking reminds me I'm not sure if my copy of earthbound got thrown out or not when my mom packed the house after we moved 7 years ago. Granted I paid $40 for a copy that could have come from a rental store back in '03 but even with the shitty condition of the manual and box that shit is worth what, $100 now?

Eh, you know the thing that kills me? I was always careful with my gaming shit. Even as a grade schooler all of the boxes and shit went up in the attic day 1 after buying new releases. Now I never had huge collections growing up but I had most of the hits. It kills me that I left all these empty boxes with my dad and he gave all my shit the heave ho after a year, I didn't at the time even think about going through and reuniting all my games with the original boxes and selling that shit and instead its all gone.

When I played through my first full run as an 8th grader I knew where the sword was and how to get it, but after an hour it seemed like starmen just wouldn't spawn and I had to give up on the fucking thing. Didn't really try too hard for the gutsy bat, just not really as incredibly important as the sword, being poos only fucking weapon, slanty eyed cunt.

I had the mk games for snes, alttp with box and booklet thing, super metroid with box. A lot of mario games, ZAMN, just had a lot of games. But yea I was lookingfor them and she told me that shesold them to goodwill. Oh well I guess that mightve made someone elses day. I still have my SNES though lel

yup still got most of my shit just sans all the perfectly kept boxes for nes, snes, n64, gb, ps1/2 etc. that are now decomposing in the land fill I drive past every month. Also the other big regret is I scored a mint condition 1986 mac plus from a garage sale with software and mauals and an image writer 2 printer and even one of those shitty kensington intercoolers. I find all the other boxes are gone so all I have left is the computer, can't even turn the fucking thing on because all the kickstart floppys got tossed so it's just a big paperweight. Fucking people make them into aquariums but mine WORKS.

How much of your collection is boxed? I have a small collection and so far most of it is boxed.

I think I'm going to have to give up on that rule for GB games, can't find any boxed for a good price.

Cartridges in the box (CIB's) usually cost way more but the Japanese imports are usually way cheaper.

I scored SMW for $20 and it came with the cart in mint condition and the plastic bag, the plastic tray, the instruction manual/fold out map and a nice unmarked box all for $20. I don't know how much a regular US copy would go for with all of that, probably at least 4 times the amount.

Most of my favorite games are just loose carts, not really worth taking off the shelf and arranging. I do have this, though. LoM is one of my favorite games, so when I found out this existed I had to get it.
