That's the lamest retort ever. Short of GB light, I can't see anyone saying that they enjoy a darkened screen that requires direct light to be half way visible.

Plus this is game boy... not exactly dealing with the cream of the crop style graphics here. So your Pikachu is shorter and fatter, at least you can actually make out that it is a pikachu and not some black blob.

While it's a lame reason to prefer the original to the GB Boy, it's still a good enough reason to outright just not buy one.

If I want to play Gameboy games, I'll just use my GBA flashcart with Goomba. Lets me play at the right resolution and also includes any relevant Super Gameboy background from the rom.
