But they are two separate series, you don't see people calling Final Fantasy by their US order anymore. If a Fire Emblem game had just been sold as "Advance Wars Subtitle" to push more copies, because at the time people outside the east were more familiar with Advance Wars not Fire Emblem, does that make the Fire Emblem game an Advance Wars game? It would be just dumb to call that by its Advance Wars title just because they named it that way to sell copies.

I know they are two seperate series, I clearly understand this if I know Final Fantasy Adventure is a Mana game despite being marketed as a Final Fantasy game. I called the game what it's called in the States, why do you care so much? Can't you just respect that some games go by various titles?

Your examples don't use the title from another series being sold as part of that series when it isn't. That is why I believe it is dumb to call the first Mana and first Saga as just Final Fantasy titles. I'm fine with Mother 2 being Earthbound and Seiken Densetsu 2 being Secret of Mana. Although, I do get annoyed when people call Mother 3 as "Earthbound 2" just like the third Seiken Densetsu being called "Secret of Mana 2" but that is another thing

Not the guy you replied to, but Final Fantasy Adventure is the first game in the Mana/Seiken Densetsu series. It began as a spinoff series, and then became it's own within time. It's understandable if you get that confused, since it has Final Fantasy in the title.

Mana became its own series and has no ties whatsoever to Final Fantasy, even the remake of the first one gets rid of the few things that it had in common with Final Fantasy at the time like the chocobo. Even the spin offs like Mystic Quest, Tactics, and Crystal Chronicles just got ties to Final Fantasy because they were sold and made as Final Fantasy games in the first place but the first Seiken Densetsu despite of being made at first as a "gaiden" game to Final Fantasy became its own series. It would be like calling Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and saying those are part of the Tactics Ogre series because they are made by the same staff even if they have no relation to each other.
