I remember lending my friend Donkey Kong Land for GB and borrowing his NBA JAM for Game Gear at the same time. We never returned either game to one another so I guess we essentially traded. It was a fair trade imo.

Really? Its been a while since I was last on /vr/, but I seem to remember the board coming to a general consensus shortly after its creation to give some leeway when it came to things like really early GC games that came out in like 2002 as well as late Dreamcast games and N64 games. Besides its not like /v/ ever discusses anything not made in the last 5 years.

I leant my cousin Spider-Man for the GBC. Eventually we both kinda forgot about it. I'd ask for it back but I doubt he'd remember it.
I did luck out on the other side though, neighbour leant me Super Mario Land, a bunch of Mega Drive games and Vexx for PS2 and she wouldn't let me return them and we both forgot. I'd give them back but it feels a bit embarassing since it was about 10 years ago now.
