Just picked this up lastnight, I'm happy with that price

>> No.1829163

Pretty solid pick-up for that price. Went to yard sales this morning and came back with jack.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for Dreamcast which a woman just gave me because she seemed to know how worthless it was when I asked her if she had any old games.

And a large Meowth figure for 75 cents. No pics because who cares.

went to a flea market and got NIGHTS NFR sealed and Spyro Ripto's rage loose for 15. Blaster master and Uniracers with the plastic tab for 7. How did I do for a first timer guys?

>> No.1829191

I have 3 copies of Secret of Mana, one boxed. I would like to trade a cart only copy for a cart only copy of Final Fantasy 2 (4J) or Ogre Battle because I have boxes and books for both of them but no cart.

>> No.1829197

We already have a pick up thread, why do we need to because some guy found a copy of Secret of Mana?

Because OP doesn't know how to use the catalog but we're not jerks here. Plus the other guy used some weird phrasing.

But yeah, OP and others -

I picked up one of these sticks for $15. Perfect condition, and everything that originally came with the box was included even the mail-in warranty form

>Wanted to go to a flea market today.
>Vehicle was tore down because I was working on it.
>Heard the old people who bring tons of fucking games to sell are back.
>OH BOY OH BOY EARTHBOUND FOR $15!
>Ask family members if they would mind drive me over there, will pay for gas.
No anon, we dont wanna
no anon, your to old to play with video games
no anon, you never do shit for me, why should I help you "after I installed his lazy ass fucking wife's air conditioner the previous day when he wouldn't."
Feels fucking horrible, these people have tons of sweet fucking vidya. Even though I own Earthbound, I dream of one day having another copy to trade out of a fucking box and manual to replace mine.

Pic related, for $20 cartridge only. As much as I'd like the box and manual and all that I'm pretty happy with it.

Still on the lookout for Bloodlines though, only Castlevania I've never played.

To be fair, did they take it as just dropping you off and picking you up later, or that they needed to stick around the entire time? Should have tried to see if a friend might have been interested in going there with you, hell, maybe he'd have found some games he was interested in as well.

Still, more often than not, flea markets seem to be pretty overpriced in most instances (though not all), with sellers either thinking every game is worth gold, or immediately going to ebay to see what each and every one is worth.

For $20 that's not bad at all, tends to go for $35-40 cart only where I live.

As for Bloodlines, good luck with that, especially if you want it complete. Last I checked where I live, a cart only copy was about $35 as well, complete for $80+. And while I do like to find original copies of stuff, it seems a bit sad it's never seen a port or anything (probably leading to it holding value fairly well since it's only on the Genesis). Not real sure why.

From what I'm aware CiB Bloodlines is actually very common, even sealed. Cases of the game were found a couple years or so back but they were all bought up by resellers who tend to price gouge it as some rare lost classic.

Ugh so much this. At my local flea market they price all the games $5-20 over ebay BIN prices, and what's worse is they wont even do the typical flea market haggling.

>Oh maybe if you buy a few I'll take a couple bucks off

Not to sound like a dick guys but do ya mind taking it to the other thread? Let's try not to clog the board with the same subject 3 times.

Yeah, I mean, it doesn't exactly seem like game that's rare, just that it holds value and has demand due to it only having a single version that was released. No ports, no VC version, no nothing.

>>1830219
At the most reasonable store I know of where I live, they tend to take the lower end of online prices, and take at least a few bucks off (more if the game's expensive) since they like to do customers a favor (also helps them to retain a good customer-base). Not everywhere out here does that, and I've been seeing a lot of places charing asinine prices for even common games, like $45 for Symphony of the Night (though I've heard it's hard to find in Europe, it sold pretty damn well in the US, and I can generally find it for $25 complete at certain stores).
