Donkey Kong Country 2 on my new SNES Jr. I just bought. Really happy with the aesthetics of the smaller design. Made double sure I didn't buy the pirated version of the model as well. Probably going to switch over and play an RPG soon. Super Mario RPG most likely.

1001 Spikes. Only got a few minutes in before heading to work, so I'm curious to finally try the non-tutorial stages and find out if it's fun. Controls are tight at least. I know /vr/ hates "MUH RETRO" indie games, but as a platforming fan that enjoys precision challenges and simple inputs they're really all I have these days. If I have time afterwards I might take a few runs in Spelunky, and/or give Tower of Druaga on the PC Engine a go.

I've been playing through Resident Evil 3 for the first time.

It's kicking my ass.

I finally managed to bring down Nemesis outside the police station, but it too literally every round I had. 40 pistol and 7 shotgun. Grabbed the ammo inside the lobby, which was enough to get through the next room, but had to just take a hit in the corridor leading to the dark room. Going to have to make more handgun rounds, even though I don't really want to waste the powder.

I was going to watch an episode of Sherlock Holmes but I've left it a bit late for that now, so I'll probably just put The Simpsons on before going to bed.

Eating soup and drinking water because I've been too lazy to go and buy actual food so I'm on the tins now.

Unless you're a fucking master at that game, don't even try that shit man. It's not meant to be done until the "official" boss battles that you can't run from. He's meant to scare you into running away as a means of amping up the tension.

Though he does start dropping good shit eventually. It's just not really worth the ammo loss you take unless you know your shit.

So, once again, first timers should NOT fight Nemesis. You have to realize that if you try to take him down every single time you meet him, there literally isn't enough ammo in the game for that. You get chased around by the fucker something like 15 different times throughout the game. Unless you play easy mode and use the disgusting amount of ammo they give you at the beginning.
