My american snes ac adapter just died, and I was wondering if I could simply exchange the super famicom pcb into the american shell, they do play games from both regions don´t they?

They look close but it doesn't look like the outer edges of the boards match up at all. I doubt it would fit without modifying the case.

Probably the easiest way to continue playing american SNES games on a japanese system is to just put the game's PCB in a Super Famicom game's shell temporarily.

actually now that I look at it more, there's a chance the differences wouldn't matter. Not sure if the outputs would line up on the back though especially considering the AC adapter connector is totally different

...and nevermind, I just looked at the back of my SNES and SFC and it shouldn't be an issue. I'd say give it a shot
