Yeah, well 4chan is a community so I'm glad you don't have the same attitude as that guy who thought you ought to keep a stranglehold on your own idea. Much better to actually see it realized, right? Some Anons can spot good ideas and some Anons know the reference material and some Anons can conceptualize and some Anons can draw. When we manage to work together, shit can actually get done and I think that good Tre/vr/ comics can help us get a little more traffic around here, especially if they accurately convey the good natured, focused experience of /vr/

To me, an ideal comic would be one in which tre/vr/ gets real for one panel and shares a deeply insightful, meaningful anecdote about retro gaming that is also a metaphor to help some other -tan with their issue, they are stunned and he immediately falls back to his grinning 90s anachronistic "Wicked awesome, right?"

Like, quickly laying down the entire story of Sega of Japan's jealousy of Kalinske's success with Sega of America and the results as a cautionary tale for /a/ vs /co/ or /v/ or /b/

If you're being anal about someone stealing your precious idea for a webcomic in an anonymous imageboard, I recommend a healthy dose of lighten the fuck up. There's quite literally no stakes in this, it's not like someone is stealing your groundbreaking idea and making millions of it, which in that case you should apply for a patent before sharing it with the public, because if you spread an idea to the world, there's a chance someone's gonna take it. So either don't share your idea if you want to do it yourself. Or share it and someone else "steals it", in which case you can do it anyway, and this time even better, building upon what was already created.

I usually am the one drawing and taking requests, so it's going to be a nice change of pace. All I had to do was press some buttons in this computer gizmo, and now some guy on the other side of the world is working hard on some bullshit I said in some thread, and if you don't think that's the tightest shit you need to get your head checked, this is some new age butterfly effect or some shit.

This is, indeed, the best Tre/vr/ moment I've seen before - his serious face since /vr/ is actually more serious than it was expected to be when Tre/vr/ was designed, but of course unceasingly retro at the same time.

Deep down we're very serious about our fun and Tre/vr/ should be too - always ready to meticulously deconstruct a good time before, during, or after.
