I didn't understand that game.

I watched the anime as a kid and when I played that game I didn't understand anything.

Why did I have to train my digimon? Why were battles so fucking tedious? Why did they evolve like pokemon, and not like the digimon from the show?

Summer of 98.

Wasn't scared, but it sure as fuck kept me busy for a week or so. My cousin had RE2 and I beat that the following autumn.
