Hey I don't mean to derail the thread but I also don't want to create one for my stupid question:

Could someone link me to a good setup tutorial for a PS1 emulator? And which is recommended by /vr/? I want to play the FFT hardmode patch, and a bunch of games I missed in my youth.

Mednafen is the best PSOne emulator you're going to find.
Using it through CLI can be a pain, but Retroarch provides a good frontend for it.

You do need three specific BIOS images. SCPH5500, SCPH5501, and SCPH5502. But you could really just take any BIOS images and rename them appropriately.

Never got why Neversoft never added in the Skate Heaven level from THPS2 in other games, would have worked so well with a more modern TH engine.

My brother and I used to play the FUCK out of the first two.

Good times; especially trying to make custom parks.

Holy shit yes.
My cousin and I used to spend whole nights doing this. It was great. Trying to make the biggest jumps possible and grind rails that lasted minutes. Good times.

As much as I wanted to, I could never quite get into THPS. My first exposure to "extreme" sports games was Dave Mirra BMX which was easier to play ... as long as you didn't land 90 degrees off axis or upside down, you were fine. Land 91 degrees off and on your front wheel? Not a problem. Conditioned by that, when I tried THPS I was bailing constantly or stuck in pools.

Correction, *this* was my first exposure to extreme sports.

Somewhere, somehow, this is the subject of a bizarre fetish. It cannot be disputed.

On-topic: Skate Or Die. There is no other /vr/-related answer.
