If I were to go out and get myself a C64, (not anytime soon) what games do you guys reccomend I get for it?

It was my dad's system, and so I only ever played one game, but it was Maniac Mansion and it was enough for me to fall in love with video games.

If you get a C64, buy an SD card reader for it(or just emulate), because loading games from floppy disks takes long, and loading them from tapes takes forever.

Afaik its extremely difficult to get media that still works for it, you probably have to get an SD adapter to replace the floppy.
