What was the first game you ever beat?

For me it was Tetris.

Pac Man, of course.

More seriously, I can't actually remember.

mine was also Tetris.

I believe it was Super Mario Bros 3, although I played it with 2 other friends at the time, and the one who actually beat Bowser was my dad.

Super Mario World. I was six.

The Goonies II.

I fucking scoured every screen of that entire game. Only thing I didn't find for a while was the candle and transciever because you get both of them in ways you don't get the rest of the items.

I made out without the candle the first time i beat it by putting a piece of masking tape on the screen where doors would typically appear when you hit the walls with a hammer and did it without illuminating the room and trying all the items I had.

I think I'll play it again today.

This was the first game I beat without the Game Genie or Nintendo Power clues, so I do have a soft spot for it even though out of the NES Marios, SMB3 objectively blows it out of the water.

I had SMB/Duck Hunt first, but never beat SMB until later because of the cocksucking loop castle.
