Any love for the non-game here on /vr/?

Did you go through and find all the character cards, and were you disappointed when the Stonecutter Lodge turned out to be nothing more than Homer by himself singing the song?

On a related note, I'm having difficulty figuring out how to run the old Virtual Springfield CD-ROM on my contemporary Mac. Google searches unhelpful. Any advice, or helpful search criteria to try plugging into the search engine?

Does it feature Phil Hartman Mcclure?

Only at the beginning, with a few variations. He introduces the game. While I'm sure his voice appeared on the show after his murder, this feels like his last big hurrah.

Damn, the nostalgia truck got me. Also there's a glitch with the cards where you can repeatedly collect them, so yes I did get them all. The reward is lousy. Finding all the things you can do was fun though, and kinda reminiscent of Arthur's Teacher Trouble. Also finding all the keys, someone told me where to find the donuts.

This game is cozy as fuck, even if you're not a Simpsons freak. When I moved last year, this game was one of the things I managed to salvage from the messes around the house.

Try to emulate Windows? As far as I know I played it on my PC in the last five years.

Do you have a recommendation for a good emulator that's not a headache to use?

Not sure; I haven't had a Mac in many years. Just searching around, the program "CrossOver" seems like it'd be intuitive, but it doesn't seem like any of these are freeware, so you'd have to find a trial or be a dirty criminal.

Just run a virtual machine with Windows. Either that or Wineskin.

Crossover looks cool but it costs money.
