Competition in our class to see who created the best game, winner has 27 likes atm ;/

I created a retro "space invaders" game on a TM4C microcontroller. Whole game is based on hardware interrupts and polling :P

Pretty hard to create a game being limited to 32kB, especially adding in BMP's and 11khz WAV's.

Nobody cares about your EDX shit assignment. Stop trying to personal army. Go to a real college instead of attention whoring on the internet.

I'm a comp sci student, though we don't really learn hardware programming.

Leave. No one in /vr/ values your shitty negative opinion. Why dont you try and create something of value like OP?

We only discuss retro games. Nobody cares about all that shit. He should go to /g/ or something.

Looks pretty retro to me being space invaders running on inundated hardware.

Pretty sure /g/ is solely about desktops, headphones, and Windows vs Apple threads.

>> No.1639920

Real Space Invaders is only 5kb and it runs on a 2mhz 8080.

I'll take the time to figure out which college you're from so I can tell whoever is in charge of the assignment that you asked a website with a reputation of pedophiles and "hackers on steroids" to help you get more upboats.

/v/ has dev threads. It seems logical we would have things of this nature as long as its not cutting edge indie crap. The creators of vidya games would be proud OP

Seriously, kill yourself. Also reporting this to your "professor" for spamming.

Damn. My code was about 12kB, not including char arrays for BMPs and 11khz sound.

Tbh a massive chunk of my code was on creating a dynamic collision system, to work with powerups. If I avoided the whole powerups, I could of created a simple collision system and done away with a few kB's.

You know that people like OP are the kind of people that makes good games eventually right?

Since when is skill and creativity a bad thing?

They're angry bitter neckbeards from /v/.
Their board has turned to utter garbage, with SJW/Reddit-tier mods, so now they want everyone else to feel as bad as they do.

You know it's obvious when you're samefagging, right?

Especially when you don't even try to disguise your retarded writing quirks, right?

Tbh I rarely visit 4chan. I just realized the end of the competition is coming near, so I need to get some more likes on the vid haha. Only 7 more to go, to reach him :P

Thanks dude, I'm also in the midst of creating a 2D platformer for Android similar to Mario. C# not my favourite language, but its got its uses. Plus I can port over to the edgy iOS market and make some $$$
