Can we have a /vr/ battle station/ Set-up thread?

I have nothing to contribute myself as I'm still living in my parents house and only have my current Gen consoles hooked up but I'm moving out at the end of the month. I'm already looking at units to hold my SNES, N64, Mega Drive, PS2 and my PS4 and hopefully a CRT along with my LED tv.

Post your shit, even if it's not fancy. Sometimes the messiest looking ones are the best as they provide a more authentic experience of enjoying retro-gaming.

I only have third party wired controllers and the dpad is shit. especially if im trying to do a specific move in a fighting game. the controller registers up some times if I push in the left or right buttons. did you get that one off if amazon or something? I feel like ive seen em on there.

I know what you mean, my bro had a clone of the original controller and it did the very same thing. I actually haven't had any problems concerning this one, but then again, do keep in mind that these are Chinese made controllers and that QC can vary greatly from one to the other.

If anybody has an SNES controller they really like (wireless would be really cool) that I can look into without breaking my bank, suggestions would be appreciated. Are first party best party?

Thanks. This isn't everything, just what would fit on the shelf, but most everything else is just stuff I manage to find on the cheap. I made certain to grab every PS2 game I was interested in for the last six years because I knew when the retro boom blew up big in 2008 everything was going to become expensive shortly. Looking at how ridiculous .hack//, Rule of Rose, Wild Arms Alter Code F, Haunting Ground, and Suikoden V are I'm glad I jumped the gun when I did. Shit, even Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is really expensive now for some ridiculous reason. There's still a few PS2 games I'm looking for, like Rez and RAD, but otherwise I'm really happy I got the games I have when they were cheap.

I've been doing the same with DS for a little while now. Hell, some of those games are absurdly expensive as it stands right now.
