Let's talk underrated platformers. I love Prehistorik 2. Great gameplay and graphics. Lots of people seemed to have it on their old DOS machines back in the day, but now it's rarely ever mentioned.

It's one of the few games to which score makes any sense to me. Meaningless as it still might be there are just so stuff to pick up, in so many sizes and shapes I cannot help but to compulsively search every nook and cranny for more crap to pick up.

And some pickables were just insane. I love the whole theme of food present in the game.

Never seen this one before. Looks great though.

I'm not sure if I played prehistorik 1 or 2, but yeah... I tried hard to like it, but the gameplay was too stiff for me, I never really liked platformers on PC for some reason.

Anyway, here's Joe & Mac 2. Rarely ever see people mentioning it, Joe and Mac are kind of forgotten in general, but when people talk about it, it's always the first one.

This game is so under apreciated. I still play it using the my gbc; soundtrack, ubber details on almost everything, exploration. That Shredder at the ending. Now I want to play it, god fucking damn it

Prehistorik 2 is a sequel to Prehistorik.
Prehistorik Man is an enhanced port/remake of Prehistorik 2.

Abuse. Having mouse aim in a 2D sidescrolling platformer blew my mind at the time.

Plok comes to mind. It never got a rerelease or sequel due to copyright issues, so it remains little-known. Too bad too, it was a pretty good platformer.

In latin america it's actually one of the most popular retro games, I have asked every friend about Prehistorik 2 and every one of them remember and love it.

>Dat last level.
Made me fear needles for my entire childhood, I'm fine now thanks.

It is, sorta. It's a prequel to Joe & Mac. I remember that in one of the Joe & Mac games there's a picture of the protag of Congo's Caper hanging on the wall of a shaman's house. When I noticed that as a kid it blew my mind.
