I can't agree with that. I never liked how SNES sounded like, muffled and with no clear definition in the sound. SNES is like listening to a decent soundtrack through a long hallway. MegaDrive, while not as varied in what it can do, is pristine and clear, and the soundchip can do wonders when properly used.
