In your experience with the series which one did you find to be the most fun and why? This doesn't necessarily have to be the game you think is the best in the series just the most fun. Games from any series are welcome, My personal favorite game would have to be Mega Man 2.

MM6 is not the best but it's pretty fun if you just want to chill inside good looking environments with good atmosphere; without facing much difficulty. It's also pretty fun to fuck around with the jetpack.

My fave is Mega Man 3. I love the extended end-game sequence with the Doc Robots. One thing that always kinda bugged me about MM is that you generally only get a few levels to play through with your full arsenal, but MM3 really lengthened the final stretch

I'd want to say the X-series is the most fun, but really only the first one is worth a damn in my eyes, so I'd say the original series is best.

Mega Man Legends had the best story going for it, and it was really starting to get juicy by the end of 2. It was a real tragedy MML got cancelled... twice.

I love MM6. The jetpack is fun as hell to use. I kinda wish the series had just ended there with Wily being and just move on with MMX instead of having both series side by side.

MMV on Game Boy is also frickin sweet.

I think MM4 does everything right, that's why it's my favorite and the one i played the most as a kid.

Really though, I don't think anyone has bad taste for having any game in the classic series as their favorite, they're all very good.

I personally had most fun with MM4, though I think MM3 is the best of the classic series (excluding non-retro MM9).

I stopped playing the X series after 5, but I have to say I enjoyed the original most by far — I started it after a marathon of the 11 classic games and it totally blew me away. X4 and X5 were also solid but really derivative.

Megaman 1 I think is by far the worst in the series, just because its so unrefined. Megaman 2 and 3 are probably the best iterations of the series, but 5 and 6 are also really fun because of the tools they give you.

I think X1 X2 and X3 are fucking excellent and worth playing. X2 being my personal favorite, with X3 a close second.

My favorite is definitely 2 as well. I love tossing newcomers in front of that game because the level design is so well made and precise I always see them get stuck and then learn the mechanics in the exact same places.

Crash bomb wall can suck a dick though. It's the worst.

I'm usually the kind of person who thinks the majority of games series get way too stale and redundant after the 3rd installment but I dig Megaman so much I give it a slide. It's just one game series I know I should be sick of but I can't stop playing over and over.

I've been playing through the Classic series on an emulator. There's this one spot in one of the Mr. X stages where the game just freezes on me every time.

I want to beat this game but it freezes on the same spot in every emulator I try.

It was 3 when I was 8-10 and it had just been relesed but 2 is perfect down to the end scene where he walks through all the seasons
