Watch out, nowadays most clone systems are just android running mobile emulators.
Ask the clerk if you can open up the box just to make sure there's a working cartridge slot.

A lot of the ones on AliExpress are honest-to-goodness hardware clones. The officially licensed AtGames systems are emulation-powered, though.

The bootleg games were illegal in most countries, but clone consoles are 100% fine globally. This is especially true for old consoles, which had no BIOS ROM or any other copyrighted software in them.
