Back on topic, I love the game. Back in college a couple years ago, just trying the game out for the first time,I got some props from people in a MTG group I had because I was practicing it on my laptop in between MTG matches. Turns out, two people in the group grew up with the game, and the afternoon devolved into a Rival Schools fest. Only problem was that I gave the other guys the controller and I had to play with the keyboard.

Also, play this with a SF x Tekken Fightpad SD. I've tried a dual shock, and it never works out for me. It's the d pad.

Oh, are there any guides or translations to the visual novel mode in the Japanese version of the game? I actually bough the game, I'd feel cheated that I lost potion of the game just because the English translators were too lazy.

And, finally, I really wish PS1 netplay wasn't shit it'd be fun to play this game with you guys.

As the other guy said, there's a walkthrough on GameFAQs regarding Hot-Blooded Student Journal 2's create-a-character mode, though I think it only covers the Taiyou student route.

I wish I had the original to run through the Wayback Machine, but Snowstorm's old Justice Network site had some loose translations of the various events in the game's create-a-character mode, like the school festival and the beach trip.

I say "loose" because dude only went through the gist of what happens, rather than including all the dialogue and shit.
