Kid Icarus there is weird, the game was a million seller, Kid Icarus was even in Captain N.

I recommend the 2 Flinstones games, when I begun reading about videogames as an adult it surprised me to not see Flinstones (the rescue of Dino and hoppy) in no top 100 NES games list.
I think it may have been more popular in the third world with their famiclones than in the USA.

Yea, Kid Icarus is a borderline case as it's definitely well know by people who grew up with the NES in the 80's but on the other hand it's not as well know as the other classics from that time like it's sister game Metroid or Mike Tyson's PunchOut!! are especially among younger gamers.

Anyway I made that list few years ago and the Flinstones game is a good suggestion for it as is Zen: The Intergalactic Ninja. Then again if I were to update it I'd have think about following:
Are games like Crystalis, Guardian Legend and River City Ransom too well known to be underrated or lesser known NES titles?
Should I remove games like AD&D: PoR and Ultima: Quest of Avatar from it as they aren't NES exclusives and many people say they are poor ports?
Also I'm sure there are some famicom exclusives I'm not aware about not to mention the FDS games.

I actually made an Ice Hockey mini game in WarioWare DIY. I'm not sure, but I think the Mario 3 in 1 sports games with Hockey might be something you might like. I havn't played it myself but seeing how Wii Sports was almost every NES sports game remade, it mite b cool.

The problem is they tend to include pretty much everything anyone might have any chance of thinking is alright, so the lists are way too long for the godawful layout they use and for the almost complete lack of meaningful organization available.
Also, a lot of the descriptions are terrible.
