What is your favorite import for the snes? Mine is Gundam Wing: Endless Duel; shits so fucking good! Fast combos, amazing sound effects and great graphics! My runner up is Godzilla: Kaijuu Daikessen.

Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. Very good game with some interesting FE mechanics exclusive to it.

Umihara Kawase. I really like the great freedom of movement.

Ganbare Goemon 2. Definitely the best platformer never to make it stateside.

My favorite obscure import, though, is Bushi Seiryuuden, developed by Game Freak AFTER the original Pokemon games, but before becoming a full second-party to Nintendo.

They released a localized version. The Title in English roughly translated to: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition

Mine is definitely Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium.

Ridiculous name, amazing game.

Ha ha, you're kiddin...

Actually...there DOES seem to be some similarities...lemme check something real quick.

Right, ripping this right from the Gundam Wiki...

>The developers have used the same engine as previously used in another game, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition, but with some improvements added exclusively to this game.

Well, you were sort of right.

tetris battle gaiden

you choose a character and have 4 spells that you cast by completing lines with gems in them

the core gameplay is controlling which piece you get next, since both players draw from the same stream of pieces

once the players get good you have to watch a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with playing tetris

just being a fast player will not be enough to beat someone good

They made the fighting engine one year too late.

It would have really been awesome with the G Gundam suits. Too bad all it got was the mediocre fighter.

At least they all got in Battle Assault 2.

This is the game that got me started on emulation. Back when Gundam Wing was a new show on Toonami, I came across a fansite that had ZSNES bundled with the patched ROM. Kid me was blown away that I could play SNES and other console games on my computer.

found this the other day

it's pretty much a standard tetris game but with colorful backgrounds, good sound effects, and a head to head vs mode

tetris + for the ps1 and tetris ds are a bit more innovative

not much else to say about it, it's tetris, play it if you like tetris

I'm sorry but if you're trying to say that Donald Duck: Mahou no Boushi is better than Goemon 2 you're wrong. You're just wrong.

Ranma 1/2 Super Battle. It's funny, because the game was advertised as coming stateside (the anime was VERY popular here back in the 90s), but was quietly cancelled.

Ther first stateside Ranma title we got was a butchered game called "Street Combat", but we actually got the 2nd Ranma 1/2 fighter pretty much untouched. Street Combat sucked, but the Ranma fighter wasn't bad.

THIS ONE, however, was EXCELLLENT. It was a bit on the slow side, but was a very fun fighter with a great character lineup, fantastic controls, and a move set full of combo potential and super moves.

That's Hard Battle, not Super Battle. I made this clear in my previous post.

Super Battle never came out here.

> It was to have been released in the United States as the sequel to Ranma ½: Hard Battle as Ranma ½ II: Anything Goes Martial Arts by DTMC, which had adapted Bakuretsu Rantou-hen into Hard Battle. However DTMC's going out of business precluded this from happening, resulting in cancellation
