sup /vr/. I was enjoying some saints row 2 a bit ago and got me wondering. What are some good sandbox games you recommend? I'm looking for a game that lets you be an asshole and gives you some freedom to do what you want.

I'd be hard-pressed to find a game that gives the player a more violent sandbox than Postal 2, /vr/ or not.

That's not really true. The early games don't let you do much and the later games have a relatively linear progression.

Capturing ships and plundering cities is far more effective than peaceful trade. You can quickly change your allegiances to suit your needs

You slippin', playa. Load up on cheats and do whatever you want to the people and police in the world. It's still pretty satisfying to light people on fire with a flamethrower or to run over shit in a tank.

You need to git gud before you can be a succesful asshole though.
Otherwise you will land face down in the mud.

I'd also say Postal 2, being able to set Gary Coleman on fire with a flaming bouncing cat rifle only to extinguish him with a torrent of your own piss is something I remember quite fondly.
