Could someone clear this up for me? How exactly did the Satellaview work? Did it connect through a phoneline or cable? I know there were also Soundlink titles. but how did they broadcast the audio part that was live? Is it possible to emulate it? I know this sounds asinine but descriptions from various sources seem to conflict.

It received data from satellites as the name implies.
Data was stored on the memory packs as shown in the picture

I've just ran in to so much "it works this way" but with out exactly explaining exactly how. Guess that happens with obscure equipment. Everyone loves to be an expert on the internet too.
