What are some of your recent buys /vr/? Pic related; I went to a local toy convention and found a dreamcast on sale for $25 with controller and cords.

I've got a pretty neat setup nearby, there was a Play N Trade that bought the rights to their store from corporate.
They generally sell pretty cheap, I think I got a DC for twenty dollars or so there.
They sell tons of old systems, I may pick something up there soon enough. I'm pretty new to this board, so I'm not sure what I need to be getting.

Some prices seem a bit inflated. FF7 hovers above $40 there, not sure if that's normal.

Picked all of these up at a convention last week. One table was selling old domestic games, and another table was selling old imports.

Defender 2 for NES
Tecmo Super Bowl, Chakan and Space Harrier 2 for Genesis
Final Fantasy 3 for SNES (picked this up on behalf of a friend)
Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 (JP) for N64
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Advanced Guardian Heroes Capcom Classics Mini Mix (Bionic Comando, NES version of Strider, and a NES-styled version of Final Fight), Astro Boy: Omega Factor (JP, at about half the price the domestic cart goes for these days), and Legend of Starfy 2 (JP) for GBA

Not that this has anything to do with vidya, but I also got Scott McNeil's autograph at the con.

Capitol is like a huge garage sale every day, so there's a lot of potential to find good shit. That's where I got a 3DO for $5, a Saturn with a memory card for $8, and Intellivision for $8, and a bunch of other stuff, including a few vintage computers.

The other day I got a whole bunch of 5.25" floppies with a few actual games in there for $5 because they've had them around for months and no one else was interested, same deal with a 3DO game.

This afternoon:
SNES pad $2
SNES SFIITurbo & Speed Racer $4 each. More than my cheap ass usually wants to pay, but I needed some games for a system I'm selling soon.
Bootleg GB games (pic) $5 & $1.

Nice to see the local Savers now putting the GB/GBA/NDS games into little plastic bags rather than stickering the game. Though they've taken to the practice of average GB games, $3, Mario/DonkeyKong anything $10, Tetris, $10... It was odd to see Super Mario Land for $10, and some complete DS games next to it for $3.
