Anyone else found anything in trash/dumpsters?

>> No.1431735

Wow, those are in great shape for a dumpster dive.

Some kids mom just threw away their childhood.

They were in this holder.

Not sure if it is a official Nintendo one, but it is pretty neat.

yeah, this totally happened, I 100% believe in this story that you just presented to me.

So you found a collection of N64, with 7 of those games being the staple N64 games due to how small the library was.

>> No.1431780

I used to dumpster dive at video game stores all the time. Now my friend works right next to Gamestop, he's gotten like five hardbound collectors edition GTA5 strategy guides.

>> No.1431784

These look far too pristine to be thrown out like that but then again I once scored a near new boxed PS2 slim and games in a bag with a whole bunch of shit being tossed out to the curb.
I think under the circumstances someone got evicted or some shit. I live in a nice part of town with lots of flats and units and the stuff they sometimes throw away round here is amazing. CRTs every few months litter the sidewalks on collection week.

>> No.1431797

When my mom moved out of the state I had to go clear out all my old stuff. I ended up leaving 3-4 milk crates full of vidya related stuff by the dumpster.

* N64
* GameCube
* PS1
* PS2
* Dreamcast
* All relevant connectors and adapters.
* All games.

I assume that whoever found it just took it to GameStop and threw it IN the dumpster after getting nothing for it, but I hope whoever actually found it got some use out of it.

God damn it, why can I never find games on the curb?

Though I did find a decent Trinitron with component on the curb, but I'd trade it for games easy.

I can honestly say I've never heard of this.

Once I found a metric shit ton of toys in a dumpster when I was 10. They were all still completely clean so I took them back to my house. Played with most before donating 90% of it to Goodwill. Still have a few random Star Wars action figures from all of that. It was well over $200 of toys based on store prices. I was so excited at the time.

I used to have a friend with something like that, although it was a sliding drawer thing. I think it might have been made for VHS tapes and he just decided to put N64 carts in it.

When I was 18 I threw away all my consoles into a recycling bin because I was wasting my time on them and put them at the curb.

No one picked them up so they got crushed.

Women can be pretty stupid when it comes to the value of inanimate objects. Buying stupid decorative items to make other women jealous, and the like. Check /k/ for "female relative stole my guns and sold them while I was on vacation/deployed/studying overseas" stories.
