Dear /vr/

I have a problem with my snes which i cant seem to solve by googling. I bought it yesterday and tried to hook it up and when i turned it on the led turned on but i had no picture. I switched the snes with a working one and everything was fine, so it isnt a cable or game or power problem. After several attempts i finally got a picture after hitting the reset button. When i reset when i have an image it just resets like a normal snes and starts up fine. But when i hit the power button the troubles start again. Ive had it start sometimes a full minute after i hit the power button, so theres a delay between turning it on and actually booting the game and getting a picture. But most of the time i have to turn it on, wait a while and hit reset before i get any image.. Does anyone know what this could be and how i could fix it?

Are you using a PAL SNES on a NTSC TV or vice versa?

It should both be PAL.. When i actually have it working it all works fine.. Its just getting it started.. And my other PAL snes has no issues with the tv either..

I dont own a snes, but it seems like it could be a damaged capacitor that is not able to charge and give enough output.

This. Could be many things but without seeing the board it's just guess work.
