A few days ago on Opa ages, a person claimed that they had a very early alpha build of a "Lufia & The Fortress Of Doom" conversion for the Sega Genesis (He may or may not have been one doing the port itself, as it was not handled by Taito)

Anyway, like I said, there's not much to the rom itself. It's mostly just a one room dungeon with the characters sort of glitching through the wall

Well, according to some of the posts, there was a bit of a controversy. Basically his company completely cheated Taito and this alpha was mostly used to take screenshots with for magazines
