Hey guys. I'm looking for a specific sort of game. I've been looking for a list of older survival horror games that are both in first person and for the most part leave you without weapons. In other words, a game that requires that you think in order to survive rather than shoot. Hellnight/Dark Messiah is a good example of this. Any help is appreciated.

Enemy Zero, released on the PC and Saturn, is a first-person survival horror game with the hook that enemies are invisible and kill you instantly if they make contact.

The gun you have (the only weapon) is very weak and susceptible to running out of battery, keeping you on your toes.

The game has its own set of quirks and flaws, but on the whole I found it to be an enjoyable experience. The PC version should be pretty easy to pirate.

Thank you. I'll look that up. Games with weak guns are fine too I guess. The Note is a pretty shitty example because you need the gun but a game like that is ok too.

Funny thing about this guy's games: He uses the same "characters" in each of his games as a way of portraying virtual actors. I think the main "actress" he uses is called Laura, or something similar. Any of the games done by this guy are generally interesting, like D3.

There is ...Iru! on PSX but it's jap only. There is one puzzle that's really hard to figure out (to get rid of the 2nd monster blocking the path, the one once you go to the next floor downstairs) but if you're stuck you can use my playthrough here

and of course there is Echo Night and Echo Night 2 but 2 is jap only, again, and contrary to ...Iru! it's text and story heavy

Also, if you want to go back to one of the first survival horror games ever there is Zombi

A game clearly inspired by Dawn Of The Dead.

Man, I had this game on the Saturn. I got stuck at one point and ended up watching an LP years later when I remembered about it. Turns out this game has a button that let's you look up. I never knew.

it's not fleshed out at all. You need to look up a grand total of one time in the entire game.

It certainly got me my first time though!
