What are some of the most imaginative retro games you've played?

Man, I started playing this for the first time in years the other day, and I forgot how good it is. There is so much different stuff that you go through before the first level is done.

I hated the Mega Drive Sparkster, it was such a huge downgrade of the original Rocket Knight Adventures it honestly felt like the first game was the sequel.

The recent sequel was okay, but nothing special at all. Felt like there was no ambition at all.

The original game is still one of my all time favorites.

I finally got around to playing this around half a year ago when the associated Game Center episode came up on my queue. Wish there were a bit more interactivity between the action and sim segments, but the idea of blending the two together in the first place was incredibly outside-the-box in comparison to most retro games I've played.

The Mega Drive had a lot of imaginative titles.
