What's a fair price on a SNES? I ask because the place I go to to buy games has a SNES on sale for $60.

>> No.1355228

$40 is pretty fair. $60 is too high unless it's a 1chip (or video modded mini) and you have reasons for wanting high quality S-Video or RGB

$40 is fair if complete
$25-30 is my personal preference
Anything under that is a bargin

Make sure EVERYTHING works (controllers, cables, included games, etc.) Bonus points if the top isn't piss yellow

He has the SNES and you don't, therefore he can charge whatever he wants to. "Fair" has nothing to do with the price.

Go away, merchant.

$40 is a good price for a Super NES, provided you like the shit out of RPGs, otherwise it will feel like a waste.

Fuck off, shithead. Just because someone is asking a price for something doesnt mean its a fair or good price. Thats not the last SNES on the face of the planet.
OP, the other anons are right, $30 to 40 is pretty fair for a complete unit. Make sure to fully test the controllers because a lot of times some buttons dont work(select, trigger buttons). Super Mario World is the perfect game to test every button, too.
