I had Sonic 1, 2 and Knuckles as a kid. First time I played Sonic 3 was on the Mega Collection on the Gamecube.

I don't remember having any trouble whatsoever at this point. I think I jumped, noticed that jumping made it move but not enough, and then I just tried other shit.

Problem solving isn't even my strong suit. I had to be shown how to wring out a towel a year ago, but in my defense I was high.

I actually don't remember how I handled that obstacle at all when I played it years ago. I only noticed the barrel was difficult when people started complaining about it on the internet.
