Tibia is an international retro MMORPG from 1997 that has gone through constant refinement; it is still updated and played to this day. It has a massive universe that's largely ignored by most players, probably due to the language barrier. The classic, charming 2D graphics and top down view gives this game its distinctive retro feel and sets it apart in today's 3D MMORPG universe. It's a hard game, even though gameplay has gotten more convenient in these last years. Slow and immersive; exponentially better with friends. There's just so much to do and to explore. The dangers are real, and so is the fear of death: the penalty for dying is pretty heavy. This builds a bond between you and your character and makes for some intense gameplay.

I still try to log in at least once a day. But yeah, haven't seen too many people on. Then again my hours have almost always been opposite to everyone else's.

He is obviously a free account. Besides, at least he has the plus-side of faster skill gain than offline training.

I don't have to pay anything to play this right? I tried it briefly once in middle school and liked it, but my mother was a fucking nazi and having to wait 30 minutes for a login queue when i've only got an hour of computer time each day didn't give me much time to actually play.

I saw that somebody messaged me, not sure how to reply. I right clicked on the dudes name and opened a new tab, but it wouldn't let me send since i had to open the confirmation email thing, so i relogged after doing that.

Yeah man, I will. It's nothing bad. It's just a friend of mine is leaving back to the UK soon and I'm just trying to spend as much time with her as I can before that happens.

>>1319153
You can totally play as a free account, but I suggest becoming a knight or a paladin if you don't intend to pay. Mages are entirely unforgiving as a free account and expensive to play regardless.

>> No.1320806

>>1320696
You don't have to train. And it isn't like the game didn't survive for 15 years without offline training. You take what you can get and you deal with it.
Besides, it isn't like you can't just set yourself up with a bot or some kind of tasker and just check in every 10-15 minutes. Training is pretty easy-mode even without software doing the work for you. Watch movies, TV, anime, play some console games, masturbate, anything while most of the boring work is done automatically.

I don't have much time to play lately. I should be able to play on weekends tho.

And it's good to get some skills from offline training, hunting won't be as boring when I get back.

Is there any way to smooth the screen movement as I'm traveling around? The jumpiness of it bothers the fuck out of my eyes.

I assume you are talking about the antialiasing

Find the options tab -> grafix -> advanced -> toggle the "antialiasing" option on.
