its like they were lying around for a decade in some soup kitchen occupied by an army of chain smokers

My house burned down a year ago, and my SNES games were in the one tiny part of my bedroom that wasn't incinerated. Some made it out, others did not, and it seemed liked the games I loved were less likely to survive.

There's a retro game store that closed down years ago due to the shady guy that owned the building. The guy that ran the shop was a total bro and one day he just left, but left the stock and everything else in the shop, it's still full of old arcade cabinets and has tons of ps1 games up against the glass, getting sun bleached to the point you can hardly make out the labels any more. I'm gonna have to take a picture at some point.
