ITT that game you love that everybody else can't stand.

pic related. I feel like once you get the hang of the controls, it's like Kung Fu but better. that bouncing around bullshit is pretty lame, though.

Two Crude Dudes. It's like a parody of all of the Double Dragon type games that came out in the late 80's/early 90's, but everyone I've played it with gets bored after stage 2. Sucks too, because it's ridiculously fun.

If you got accustomed to the game mechanics, you would agree on the fact that this game is painfully short

I had this game as a kid and I always jump to it as an example of a game that does nothing to create a coherent narrative or give you any idea what's going on.
What does the collectible C's and D's mean?
And why does the last level look like it's on mars?
And why is this game 10 minutes long?

C for 'Crane Kick' and D for 'Drum Punch'.

I love Two Crude Dudes, but how the game is designed is kinda lame. 2D only, which isn't a problem, but when you come into contact with ANYONE, you get hurt, and your recovery time is very short. You can't combo your attacks, which is odd considering you can throw your punches very quickly, quick enough for a combo. Every body is just knocked back with a single hit, and they have recovery frames.

It's a great concept, but the execution was bland.

22 years of mystery ruined.

SNES: Street Fighter II Turbo. My friends mainly hated it because I could destroy them every time. I bought a strategy guide when it came out that taught all the known re-dizzy combos... I was a bastard.
