This is probably a long shot, but does anyone have a download for the original japanese version of Jet Set Radio? I'm not talking about de la jet set radio which has all the same content as the US/EU versions but with japanese text, but the original version without a bunch of the levels and a lot of other differences.

The only download I've found (outside of a series of torrents with no seeds) is http://forums.project2612.org/details-39882.htm, but it seems to be a bad dump as nothing I've done has been able to fix this.

I'm a huge fanboy for this game, and this version is pretty different from the version the rest of the world got so I wanna see the differences.

I could be wrong, but I remember when people were first burning DC games my buddy had the original JP rip of this game but you needed to use the echelon boot disc to load a lot of games, and I think this one needed the boot disc to run unless you did all this crazy shit to repack it yourself with echelon's self boot kit.

Have you tired swapping it in after using the echelon boot disc?

Sorry correction, the __Utopia__ boot disc, not echelon. echelon did dumps and made the selfboot kit later on.

I tried using utopia in nulldc but swappng disks just didn't want to work idk I'm not an expert on dc emulators

converting it into a file that selfboots was pretty easy but it refused to open

oh shit sorry I thought you were playing on a hardware dreamcast. nulldc probably works a little differently. I'd try that other link for the file anon posted and see if that works. If not I can grab and test the link you have on my DC and tell you if it's a iso problem or emulator shortcoming.
