We got to the part where they're in that bar, and I asked "alright, we watched a little Star Wars. Can we play the Sega?", to which he replied "A little Star Wars means we watch one movie. Star Wars was huge in the era of home video... It got two release runs on VHS. I'm in my late 20s, and I grew up watching it on tape. While the special effects are only part of the draw, sfx hadn't really improved by the 90s, so its not like new movies at the time looked any better. >People who don't like Star Wars don't belong on this board, this site, this planet, or in this universe. Your opinions are meaningless and foolish and you should live the rest of your pathetic lives in a dimension where Star Wars hating retards are tolerated, away from all of us, stroking yourselves and each other over your mutual dislike of one of the greatest phenomena of film, literature, video games, and pop culture of all time.

Congratulations. You are fucking retarded.

I wonder if this asshole says all that in real life, too? Let him walk up to some 6'4", 300 pound muscle man and tell him he is a waste of life and doesn't belong on this planet because "muh Star Wars wah wah." He would get his skinny nerd ass beat the fuck up.

Jesus Christ this. That moment when you call the giant robot and you're like "ah, a cutscene cool" and then, "oh...wait....I GET TO PLAY THE GIANT ROBOT?!"

So much fun

The hit box seemed so bullshit the first time I played it, but yeah, there's totally a muscle memory thing when it comes to hitting the sweet spot

>get there for the first time ever.
>the intro of the boss theme starts to play with the whole rumbling.
>expect something huge coming from the right of the screen, I slowly start to advance, slightly tapping the d-pad, tunnel visioning the right of the screen.
>don't even notice bowser arising from the dark, until his head is almost at the purple part of the sky.
>proceed to crap myself and put the game in pause for 5 minutes to get my shit back together.

Blew my mind on so many levels, I didn't knew back then you could fight a boss who was rushing towards your fucking screen.

Also, the fight into the frog stomach was awesome and original.
