So a guy I talked with it selling a bunch of game shit nearby, comes down to less than a dollar per item and I know there's some stuff in there worth more than that amount.

that said, he's only available until 5 and I'm free at 4, and it would take me 20 minutes to reach his location. He also said others have contacted him, but nobody (myself included) has been 100% able to make it there in time. Approx 140,000 copies were manufactured. That's not a lot, but that's not a small amount either. Realistically Earthbound is uncommon but because of the stigma/reputation it has as being rare people hold onto it, artificially lowering supply whether on purpose or not and because of that the price goes up. The price is $300+ because people keep paying that much.
