Not a bad price if that's 140 games across the NES/SNES libraries. Is your undisclosed N64 collection included in this estimation?

This doesn't include any estimation of how many hours you've spent building this collection, work related to selling off extras, and gas you've spent getting around. Any estimation of how many hours you've put into these things?

With my current shit job I make $30 an hour, so I'd have to take that into account when considering if working on a collection would be worth it for me when compared to just ordering flashcarts.

>Have well over $9000 worth of games.
There's no inherent $9k worth of games if you got them for $0.35k.

Also the "work and gas" doesn't equate into it at all. I've made more money selling my doubles than I've spent on my collection. Because the "work" as in going to flea markets/garage sales isn't work to me. It's a fun way to spend the first half of a Saturday.

Welcome to the club my friend. Flash carts are awesome fun and I just happen to have the ones you just purchased. Here are a few tips to help you while you wait.

First things first. Prep your SD cards ahead of time. Make sure that your card size will match what you have in terms of roms. Also make sure you give your SD cards a full reformat. I had issues with the ED64 on initial set up because I didn't do this (init error 100). Once done, just slap in the required OS and roms so that you can just plug and play once you get these things.

N8 - This thing is great. It will also play your FDS games with auto-flipping of disk. Just remember that FDS games require a reset in order to save, all other games are normal. There are also a few games that need you to set the cart to "reset to game" in order to work. Abadox is one example. Also make sure that your rom has a good header, I had to replace a few mega man roms as a result. Castlevania 3 US will not work but a translated version of Castlevania 3 Jap will work.

SD2SNES - This works great with all games I have tried. Just makes sure to remove games that require FX xhip (starfox 1 and 2, stunt racers FX, Mario RPG and Yoshi Island are the big ones).

ED64 - This also works great, like the other carts. Games require that you reset in order to make saves stick. All games will work as well but there are 3 with issues. Donkey Kong 64 and Jet Force Gemini requires that you use patched versions in order to save. Banjo 2 did need a patch but it seems the newest OS fixed this issue, still worth grabbing a patched version.

Great thing as well is the fact that you will have access to a ton of fan translated games, hacks or exclusives from other continents. Just makes sure you get yourself a decent CRT for your Saturday morning cartoon and game sessions.
